Then in subsequent chapters he has very nicely detailed about repertories of stalwarts like Kent, Phatak, Boger, Boericke, Knerr, Robert, Clarke. He has mentioned about the philosophical background, plan and construction of each repertory, but the main beauty of the book comes when he mentions the practical utility of each repertory by discussing plenty of cases under it. He not only mentioned cases of stalwarts, also analyzed those cases for the better understanding of the readers. A rare collection of different type of clinical cases of Dr. S.R. Phatak are compiled in the third chapter of the book, which another point of attraction for the readers. Regarding the use of Phatak’s repertory, case examples of many successful physician are cited here; one such case of legendary physician Dr. M.M. Dutta is referred in the book, where he treats a patient of asthma relived by taking steam, he uses the rubric- Steam, amel.- Ars-s-f., lyss., and Ars. sulph. flavum helped the patient.

Next, in the fifth chapter on the discussion on ‘Pocket manual of Homoeopathic Materia Medica and Repertory’ by William Boericke, the author has stated the important cases related to clinical rubrics. Clinical application of some rare drugs mentioned in the Boericke’s book are elaborated as well. Then while writing the Knerr’s Repertory the author has compiled the interesting mental rubrics under different medicines along with case excerpts.  Similar arrangements are seen in the subsequent chapters related to Robert, Clarke and Boger synoptic key.

Now, while reading this book further, another bonus chapter was discovered which is called ‘Artistic repertorization’. Here the author has said about the artistic use of different repertories in same case synergistically. He has discussed about many approaches with case examples as further discussion in the chapter.

The next two chapters are solely dedicated to the readers and students of homoeopathy where the author has given like fifty-three cases for the readers with the intention to solve them, followed by their detailed repertorial analysis. The author has concluded the book with references and a chapter called ‘Maps of Repertory’, where he has given a short summary of every repertory mentioned before.

Conclusion & Recommendation:

The book is written in so comprehensible manner that it would help the undergraduate students who are struggling with the subject Repertory. But as the pattern of the book is seen all over, this book is complete guide for the post graduate scholars and the homoeopathic practitioners. Many important case examples are given in such a way that, they will help us in our clinical practice very much. In today’s era where there is a lack in published data of cured cases from the physician of this period, this book fulfils that by providing a lot cases from this generation homoeopaths. The author and publishers are to be congratulated for this lovely compilation.
